How to Cancel Your ABC Fitness Membership
Step 1: Access the Cancel Now Option
To initiate the cancellation process, simply click on the “Cancel Now” option, selecting today’s date as the cancellation date. This will trigger the process, ensuring your membership is terminated effectively.

Step 3: Start the Cancellation Process
Follow these steps to cancel your membership:
- Go to the member’s Invoices page.
- While in ABC view, click “Edit” in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
- In the edit menu, select “Cancel Membership.” This action will prompt the Cancel Account dialog box to appear.
Step 4: Fill in the Details
In the Cancel Account dialog box:
- Select the Cancellation Date.
- Choose a Cancellation Reason Code.
- Optionally, provide any comments you wish to add.
- In the Payables section, indicate whether the individual is responsible for paying any dues or profit center invoices before cancellation. If yes, select the relevant invoices.
- In the Cancellation Fees section, specify if an additional cancellation fee applies. If yes, enter the Cancel Fee Amount and select a Due Date.
If you selected “Yes” in either the Payables or Cancellation Fees section, the Total section will display the amount to be collected before cancellation.
Step 5: Confirm and Update
Once you’ve filled in all the necessary details, click “Update” to confirm your cancellation request.
Step 6: Address Active Recurring Services
If the member has any active recurring services, a warning will appear. This dialog box will allow you to deactivate or freeze the member’s services. Please note that even after membership cancellation, the member will continue to be billed for any remaining active services.
Step 7: Pending Cancel Status
Your membership account will now be placed in “Pending Cancel” status. It will remain in this status until:
- The total cancellation amount is collected.
- The pending cancel date arrives.
You can view the status on the member’s Agreement page, including the status reason and the date of the status change.
Step 8: Completion – Status Changed to Cancelled
Once all requirements are met and the cancellation process is complete, your membership status will be changed to “Cancelled.” This signifies the successful termination of your membership.
